AVK series 41 DN350-600 swing check valves come with metal seats. Installed in pumping applications to prevent back flow they can be used for drinking water as well as waste water. The disc is connected to the shaft via a flexible bush that allows disc and valve seat to adjust exactly. All interior parts are stainless steel or coated with drinking water approved epoxy. The series 41 valves are available with either enclosed shaft end or protruding shaft end where a lever with a weight or a spring can be fitted to mitigate pressure surges.

Features
- Metal seat in copper alloy for high durability. The light weight of the disc requires a minimum of force to open
- Shaft fitted in the bonnet allowing for easy maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline
- Shaft material 1.4401 (AISI 316) stainless steel
- Shaft end fitted with a position indicating lever and weight to assist valve closing and avoid water hammer
- Stainless steel grade A4 bolts
- Disc is mounted in a flexible rubber bushing allowing it to tilt slightly in all directions and adjust exactly to the valve seat
- All seals in contact with the water are manufactured from drinking water approved EPDM
- Bonnet gasket is fixed in a groove between bonnet and body to prevent blow-out
- 300/350µm blue RAL 5017 coating to AS/NZS 4158
- Bosses on each side of the valve seat allow for installation of pressure gauge, by-pass, etc. 3/4" BSP in bonnet boss
- Cracking Pressure = 10kPa
- The lever mechanism is protected by a steel guard and fitted with a P&F proximity switch
- Unique protective guard design to fit both horizontal and vertical installation
