About AVK Currumbin

AVK Currumbin is a manufacturing facility based in Currumbin Waters on the Gold Coast. The facility manufactures fittings, valves, flanged pipes and street-ware. The foundry has been operating since 1960 and specialises in the process of making Ductile Iron Fittings predominantly for the civil water and waste water industry but has the capability to mould custom ferrous castings up to 3,000 kg.

With over 100 employees, AVK Currumbin has the ability to provide a full service package to its customers including technical support, inspections & testing, packaging and logistics as well as staging of large scale projects.

AVK Currumbin is certified according to ISO 9001 in respect of quality management, ISO 14001 in respect of environmental management and AS 4801 in respect of the Australian standard for occupational health and safety. Their range of products have certification marks to AS/NZS 2280:2014 for fittings, valves and flanged pipe, and AS 2638.1 & 2 for gate valves.
